New home needed for lovely Maggie (currently in South California).
She was rescued from the dog pound on the last day before they were to put her down because she failed her "temperament test".
Something in her young life traumatized her and she is very afraid of other dogs. She redirected her anxiety on the leg of an unsuspecting warden and was given a death sentence.
Now she is safe, but in a kennel until a suitable home can be found. She is a lovely sweetie, but needs a calm and assertive human parent who can make her feel confident and protected (so she needn't worry about protecting herself!)
