Bull Terriers have that enviable knack of being able to sleep anywhere.
Mine automatically assumed that pieces of furniture, boxes, shelving, baskets etc were for his personal use. Deducing from this that he might enjoy a kennel, I bought a stylish wooden model which I even painted a lovely blue. He only went in it once, giving me to understand that in his opinion it was a death trap.
Eventually wasps nested in it.......
